People talk about Mcarthy, Warnock and Pearson and others with similar reputations, at least when they look in the mirror they recognise the reflection as somebody who does things their way and will not accept being manipulated by a smooth pen pusher. And none of them would ever make wild claims or predictions, they take it as 1 game at a time nothing else.
Exactly and just like the comedy 'yes minister', the decisions were made by the 'suit not' the leader.
You try to portrait your statements to be facts, but all they are is your opinion.......pinch of salt comes to mind!!
Ah right so LJ was his own man? fine I will fully accept that and you have to accept that being the case he was 100% the master of his own downfall. Thanks for clearing that up. Yet again you cannot have it both ways you cannot claim that LJ had Ashton to deal with and then when I say that Mcarthy, Warnock and Pearson are their own men and would not allow that type of interference, you claim that is wrong as well.
nah 99% of coaches dont big themselves up as much as LJ does. he was after all in his LJ world one of the top young coaches in europe!!
Again, just your opinion and not facts.....most of my statements include IMO.. you seem to portray you know the facts ...we do not know the full facts regarding what Ashton's & LJ's transfer involvement were...just educated guesses..
in your world but when one of europes bests young coaches !!! says europe premiership and gets sacked with none of it done not even close i will say its bad coaching. set his target and fell ****ing mies short. time cash and failed. talks a ****ing great game mind.
Oh yes, the only coach in 40 years to keep us competing well for 4 seasons in the championship, longer than any manager since AD... Very bad Now let's have the waffle regarding 63 signings and backing.................of course no other club coach in history has backing or signs players, or has ambition to succeed with high expectations ..... Oh...The improvement since he's left has been breathtaking
You keep saying that he had his best players sold from under him, you made a comment that another of our managers didn't have to deal with Ashton both of those statements are portrayed as fact, I didn't see any IMO, you always try to say that he was undermined by Ashton and again I have not seen any IMO attached to those statements either, you cannot have your cake and eat, either he was undermined by Ashton or he wasn't. You even claim he was a young man with a family to support as a reason why he never rocked the boat as if it's fact.
your waffle,. spent more than any other. had to sell the family silver to balance the books because hes spent more than any other. blamed players often and publicaly moaned about a lack of leaders for seasons despite spending spending more than any other. coaching is developing players and the list of players who didnt kick on under LJ is massive. banged on about top coaches abroad visited this and that and identity this . the man is a top top top bullshitter.
Again I never said the majority of that, so I will let you continue to make things up along with your non factual waffle as normal. In red from top to bottom. 1. Show me where I said that, apart from that now Pearson doesn't have to deal with Ashton.....which is fact. 2. I've always said we don't know the facts if he was undermined by Ashton.....who actually was responsible for the players we signed or let go. 3. Complete and utter BS......never said that.....please show me.
Well lets hope and see if we do better with what we have now...........so far......we haven't and gone backwards.....but as a City fan, I hope that changes... RR's magician is in the hot seat, needs to vastly improve from the back of last season, that's for sure.....Holdens start kept us up..
