178 for what is a so called rival fixture. Wigan v The Welsh Wigan.

Small rugby town v small rugby town.

Seen the game - just what I thought nothing to fear from the majority of PL teams.

Swansea have some good players with some like Monk who really should be in the lower leagues. Hopeless striker as well.

Wigan will find it tough going next season in The Championship.

Swansea lose a couple or have a few injuries and they could also find themselves bottom 3.

Cartoonhead, you, Ash and several other Swans posters are always welcome on our board as your comments are ballanced with a hint of WUM and a dash of a dig but it is taken in the spirit in which it is intended. The fact that you post positively most of the time means the WUMs are taken as such. You also take as good as you get.

Others just pester the board with continuous drivle and sulk when they get it back. Other are just arses. It doesn't take long to sort the wheat from the chaff. My approach to the arses is to ignore them. They soon get bored and go away.

Fortunately we don't resort to banning people as a first response. Most WUMs can be rebuffed by counter WUM or superior argument though some do take umbridge.

As Stevo said, stay with us if you get banned. We'll take good care of you until the domestic dust settles.

Swansea ended a fairly horrible run of form with that result. The Cup win has disguised a bit of a slide since Feb. They need to strengthen significantly in the summer or treat the Europa league as a youth/reserve team competition.

Newcastle were way in front of where Swansea are this season but European competition has seen them on the edge of relegation.

I can see their Europa League travels being a burden when it comes to the domestic front next season so I think we are going up just at the right time.

I will agree, we will struggle with Europe next year unless we strengthen.

They have been very touchy over there. Basically you have to praise Swansea, make sure you say they are a wonderful team, and then your posts are okay. Meanwhile they have Cross Dressing Dragon and Dai going onto other clubs boards giving it big, and many of them living on this board constantly wumming. Waste of time talking to them on their board. Just wait for them to come here if you want to say something to them.

As for Leighton James....what a sad man he is and seems to represent that low whole self esteem mentality.
Tate and Trundle sprayed their message on the National Flag. Hudson and company sung from a bus in their own town. Not even comparable

Yes very touchy clique! But not all of the swans fans come here to wind up people. Though this thread is obviously a wind up and it will attract swans fans to it. So if you really don't want swans fans coming here try to stop posting about them.

It's just banter over here fella, but you know that anyway. <ok>

Your site is very uptight and being destroyed by a select few. Glad Dai's back to offer something different from the blandness that's taken over.

Look forward to next season. I think we are playing you just at the right time.:emoticon-0100-smile

Basically that's all I want is a bit of banter, I work for a company with a majority of Cardiff fans, there is a lot of banter and we have a laugh. I go down my local and have a great time there and also have a laugh. Is it to hard to want the same here?

And I'm glad Dai is back as well, I argue like hell with him, and he calls me like others a muppet at times, but its water off a Swans back ;) He gives a different perspective, some obviously can't handle that.

Anyway looking forward to the battle ahead when the next season starts, though the silly season has already started as you can see by all the speculation lol

Jager - fully agree about this thread mentioning you and would expect a retort or two, but it doesn't stop the same jack posters looking for every opportunity to get a dig in on threads completely unrelated to your club.

A few noteable exceptions apart, I don't know why anyone on here wants to get involved with them. The majority of Championship club visitors have been knowledgeable and up for a chat, unlike this lot trying to take the piss all the time in the so called name of "banter". There's a thread on here posted for just that, rather than disrupting decent discussion threads.

I don't bother over there at all myself, but I've read a few threads when Cardiff posters have made a comment. The reactions from most who reply are incredible.

They are so far up their own arses after they invented passing a football a couple of years back, that any sort of critique or questioning sends them into a frenzy - like a pack of rabid dogs......<laugh>

No wish to stop chatting and having a laugh on here with those of you who are up for it, but some of the viscious comments made on the Swansea board about this club and its' supporters often makes it very difficult. <ok>

Can understand that and I don't really get involved in it myself as I can't frankly be bothered with it, but will snap off a sharp reply to some who come on the wind up on threads that are discussing things, like me telling the OP to eff off the other day when he posted this on a thread over there, he's on the wind up he gets it back.

But I am open minded to you guys, can't wait to play you up in the premier league, and I want to stuff you and grab all 6 points, the same as you do with us, more than likely it will end up as two draws and no goals though But once its over I just want a banter, even if you are our local rivals.

Anyway, I will let it lie and move on to other places as I have more fun chatting to others away from the Swans board at the moment, judging by the reactions of some I'm probably not welcome there in any case.

    Speak later

As I said recently I come here for banter reasons but get negative responses that were originally set in motion by your one arse, Aberdude. That guy is not liked because he takes things to a personal level every time, he has no intention of banter but instead only to insult. He was banned for repeatedly doing it with malicious intent, he even sent me a PM but I chose to not do anything about it.

Whilst the majority of you continue to create humorous banter on our board we will continue to let it go, it is banter after all, but if Aberdude continues as he has then the only thing left to do is to ban him. There is a line between banter and abuse and the boy doesn't know where it is drawn.

Bloody hell, one thing's for sure, the schools and universities are failing in their obligations to produce literate students.
