Lets us go through this bit by bit...

you say that he simulated and should be booked In said I thought he simulated as he appeared to be going to ground before Ruddy touched him, I did not say he did.

you also say it was a foul From the referees viewpoint it was a foul, and I am being fair to the ref here, he only saw what he saw or what he thought he saw. So on that basis, if that's how it was interpreted then it's a foul and to that end I swallow my pride and accept that decision and have no real issue with it. I have never said anywhere it was not a foul, I have never been stupid to make my statements factual. I have said it did not look like a foul because I think the ref was conned but a foul was given.

but yet somehow it wasnt a red card Again it is open to the ref's interpretation, having decided it was a foul he viewed Ruddy as being the last man and denied a clear goal scoring opportunity. I would argue that even if the keeper had been rounded there was a defender closing in very quickly who quite possibly would have blocked a shot coming from an acute angle, therefor perhaps it did not deny a clear scoring chance and I am not sure Ruddy was the last man for the same reason (remember, a defender does not have to be in direct line with the goal and the striker to be perceived as being able to clear a shot) - which is why I also added it's not my opinion that counts, I am only a mere spectator (when the stream works!)

and you say that all players will go down to get a pen in the right circumstances I did but that does not mean I like it or agree with it.
 
Thai - if you read it let me apologise for my nasty comment about medication. It was meant in jest but with hindsight it overstepped the mark. No offence intended pal <ok>

aww bless, you thought I was away sulking <laugh>

I was busy with other stuff and only just came back about 3 minutes ago.

Not offended at all fella and have tried, as best I can, to state my case for the defence your honor <laugh>
The foul I am not, and never was unhappy about despite what I think (or you) only the red card IMHO opinion was incorrect but as I say, it's not my opinion that counts on the day <ok>
 
<laugh> Thai you've gone and contradicted yourself again!

You're not unhappy with the foul but in another breath dont think it was a foul but understand why it was given because the ref couldn't see it properly from his angle. <laugh>
