A week or two after the last game was played I was part of a cup final game for Springhead U13's. It was absolutely incredible to live my dream of playing on the hallowed turf of BP (even though the turf was in a bad way after people had taken chunks of it home!) It was a draw at the end of the game and as it was a momentus day for both teams we decided to share the trophy! I have the game on video and it's something I'll never forget!
ah yes, that was it, thanks....i remember he was really pleased with himself when he told me, i thought he was waiting for me to ask for his autograph or something. i just pointed out which lights needed sorting..
