For a 19 year old making his debut, he didn't make an error which lead to a goal compared to all the other defenders. He played fine.

I don't get your obsession with him being ****? Is it jealousy?

I don't get your obsession with defending players who have left us.

He didn't make an error...are you sure you watched it.
Wasn't it on at the same time the club you support we're playing. Priorities eh

He didn't make an error that directly lead to a goal. That's from watching it, and from Opta stats.

As you well know I am boycotting until the Allams leave and got free corporate tickets to the Chelsea match.....

I am just defending a player who gets harshly done to by people for leaving to a club who are paying him five figures a week!

    3 haha.
You get three for being on the pitch.

It's like a taxi charging you £3.50 before they set off.

It wasn't his first game. He played 90 in the league cup and was MOTM, the next league cup game he was absolutely shocking and got hooked at half time, he then came on as a sub in their 3-0 drubbing by West Ham the other week and was instrumental in goals 2 and 3, and now he just made his first start and he wasn't fine, he was absolutely ****ing diabolical.

To the others in this thread, we haven't missed him, Clark is much better.

Stoke fans I've spoken to of late think he's dire and whatever compo we get - we will have stitched them up.

He's nowhere near as good as some make him out to be on here, he will no doubt have a career in the game, but it will be bottom half champ or below

I think he will look back on the stoke move rather then taking his opportunity to fully develop here as a mistake in years to come

I doubt anyone will give Bowen 40k per week, regardless of who comes in for him, max he's going to get will be 20k after only half a season scoring, yes, but at this level in a poor Championship. If he does go it's going to be a relegation battling team or a team at the top of the Championship. If he has the sense, he'll take the team at the top if it comes up. Although I doubt he'll leave in January, he's probably seen how it can go wrong with other players & here he's guaranteed game time.
If he goes in the summer, he can start a fresh year with a new team & a full chance of getting into a team, rather than having to wait for a chance.

The thing is, is he more interested in game time, or how many pieces of silver are crossing his palm?

Exactly pat. Who wants to look back and think of the money they earned sat on the bench at Leicester as it was the smart move???
Play until your legs fall off. I like that saying

TORONTO – Drew Moor’s heart is in the right place – figuratively and literally.

Six months after it was discovered that he had an irregular heartbeat, Moor, a player known for his kindness and generosity of spirit off the field, has bounced back and is his old self again, and the Toronto FC defender is raring to go for the playoffs.

Moor, a 33-year-old native of Dallas, was told by TFC’s staff that he had an issue with his heart that he needed to have checked out. Moor ended up travelling to Boston where he underwent a 3 1/2-hour medical procedure, known as an ablation, in order to restore his normal heart rhythm.

The veteran defender ended up missing seven consecutive games from April 15 to May 13 after he recuperated from the procedure to correct the minor heart defect. Eventually, Moor was cleared to play and he’s been one of the constants in coach Greg Vanney’s team sheet ever since, starting in 17 of the Reds’ last 20 matches.

Moor was never in mortal danger, so it wasn’t exactly a life-changing experience. But he did learn one thing about himself during his extended tenure spent on the sidelines.

“I learned that I want to play until my legs fall off. When you’re away from the game, I mean, you’re still with the team and you’re in the locker room, but you feel so removed, so detached from it all, so out of the loop,” Moor told Sportsnet.

“You miss it so much. I missed battling and competing. That’s what I feel like I’m on this Earth do to right now. That’s what I want to do as long as I possibly can.”
