I've just been talking to a Man Utd fan I know in the local shop, we always have a bit of banter I give him stick for being a "glory hunter" which is not really fair as he has been a Utd fan for years and follows them home and abroad whenever he can. Anyway he was at the Liberty yesterday and was full of praise for the Swans support, he has watched Utd at every PL ground over the years, and said that being at Swansea yesterday reminded him of being at Stoke where the crowd act as a 12th man and will the team on.
I saw the game yeterday on ESPN and thought the Swans were worth a point, but it was hard to get a sense of the atmosphere, but according to this guy it was electric.
So could this be one of the reasons for Swanseas good home form?
Was the atmosphere better than normal, because one of "the big boys" was in town, or are the crowd really Swanseas 12th man?
