Her sister said on FB that they're in France doing everything to get her back home. Can you imagine that? Losing a child in a foreign country and then having to bring her home? Terrible. R.I.P. Jessica.
Her parents will need lots of support on their loss. I hope they are surrounded by lots of good people. This really is tear jerking news. Bless them all x
Shocking news. This really has sickened me, my missus is a scout leader and every time they go away they do risk assessments. I always tell her to keep kids away from water because water is a potential killer. Someone needs stringing up for this, it's just not good enough that a young lass has died.
As someone who went to Wolfreton recently if it is the trip I'm thinking of it is an annual water sports trip, I think they would have been disappointed to get there to find out they can't go in the water. Obviously nobody expects anything like this to ever happen, I don't think anyone is to blame it's just a tragic accident.
Jessica clearly enjoyed and embraced a fun challenge and the ever present risk took her from her family and friends; unfortunately these things happen. RIP Jessica.
