12 more wins should get us an automatic promotion spot:
89 points should be sufficient to bag one of the 2 auto spots, Do we believe we can do it this year ???
I have no doubt (overconfident, deluded or an idiot all 3 i think) that we will be promoted this year automatically. We have a squad that is now good enough to cope with injuries (unless ravaged) and a team ethic that we have seen over the last 3 games that is built on hard work, even when not being at our best we still come away with the points.
This is a new Team and a new way of thinking and a great mental attitude has been created, hopefully a few signings in the transfer window will add more quality to our already strong squad and take us well out of sight of the chasing pack. <ok>

I think we need another 13 wins for promotion. Hull will stay the distance and then there's Middlesborough, Leicester and Watford to worry about.
92 points and we should win this league.

Hull will fall away as serious contenders.Watford ,Lecesest...Lestrer...Liececter...The one you mentioned and CP more of a threat .

At least I think we now have sufficient points to ensure we can avoid relegation, but I'm not sure! <yikes>

IMO we have avoided relegation already, cant see Brizzle / Barnsley / Peterboro or Sheff Weds reaching 46 points <laugh>

Hampshire, IMO with this league being very competitive every team is taking points off each other. The 4 you have mentioned all have 1 thing in common they have all been beaten by us !!!
The away games against 3 of those should be very interesting though

cvdblue>> I don't think 3 away games will be relevant. We already beat Leicester away and play them home on 29 Jan.
We play Hull in the last game of the season so if we haven't cracked it by then we're well and truly ******.
I think we'll tuck middlesbrough up, (We'd better my mate supports them) and at the moment Watford are a good step behind. The next 4 or 5 weeks will tell.
The next 5 games could well define our season.

Remaining Fixtures:

January: Birmingham (A), Ipswich (H), Blackpool (A), Leicester (H)
February: Leeds (A), Huddersfield (A), Bristol City (H), Brighton (H), Wolves (A)
March: Middlesbro (A), Derby (H), Barnsley (H), Sheffield Wed (A), Peterbro (A)
April: Blackburn (H), Watford (A), Notts Forrest (H), Charlton (H), Burnley (A), Bolton (H)
May: Hull (A)

Surely three wins per calender month January to April, plus a couple of draws here and there will be, not only plenty, but also do-able.
