Would that have been the day our new Chairman promised not to make any changes to the managerial and coaching staff for at least the medium future, and that everyone would be given a fair chance and a fresh start, only to sack them all a few days later?

The man has done wonders for Charlton and appointing Chris Powell and backing him to sign a whole new team was a master-stroke. But don't ask me ever to believe anything he says again. He's a liar.
