Having been a season ticket since 2001 ( and before that my first season ticket was in 1975-6 ) but who didn't renew last year I rang the ticket office today.
Apparently there are lots of seats available in E5 ( my preferred option ) but as I wasn't a ticket holder last year despite attending 80% of home games I cannot buy a ticket until Thursday.
Frankly I agree with all those who have lamented the state our support has been rendered under the Allams.
What an indictment of their crazy and lunatic reign only our fifth season in 112 years in the top flight and the club that holds the record ( by a country mile) for the highest average gate in the THIRD division is struggling to fill a 25,000 capacity stadium.
Yes Hulls a poor city yes football has wall to wall TV coverage but come on the autocratic Allams have alienated so many supporters it's beyond belief .
As others have said its time they went

If you think not renewing will get them out then you are deluded. The scheme is here while Allam is here and even if we get new owners tomorrow it will take ages to unravel said scheme even if they decided it should be scrapped. Hopefully the PL will decide that concessions need to be reinstated for both young and old. Why don't you grow some bollox, put your grievances with the owners aside and get behind the 11 players who will be on the pitch every week?

Exactly. And protest the scheme while you're in there.

We didn't renew our pass this last season but will get a membership, not because we agree with it but because we want to support the team, we went to almost all the home league and cup games anyway on a game by game basis. I protest at the shocking way they treat fans now by not buying anything other than a pass/ticket/membership, in the past i bought programs, half time draw tickets, drinks in the stadium and shirts/merchandise but not anymore i buy absolutely nothing other than the right to go and support the team.....full stop.

Why will it take ages to unravel - the season pass was unraveled as soon as the season ended - you just keep those that have signed up for the membership scam on the scam until the end of the season and accept new customers on either a membership until the end of the season or a reintroduced season ticket until the end of the season - next season it's back to season tickets - it will cost the new owners to sort it out - they will take this cost off the money they pay to the Allams

    As an OT

If the fans who have been abusing the child?OAP season passes is 15/20%, disputed i know, plenty have done it though.

Would they be having any trouble signing up to the new scheme? Or are they waiting for Thursday?

Surely they could just have signed up whenever
It no longer matters how old you are so it isn't relevant anymore?

Dunno Den, just wondered so thought I'd ask.
Maybe they just wait so they can do it in their real names now?

I've just seen the line at the bottom of the OWS re the membership general sale page:
"*£24 joining fee will rise to £84 after Thursday 23rd June 2016"
    This is a massive disincentive!

they think they will hurt the fans but the people who would have signed up then are going to be more people who would only go to watch the Premier League and all it will do is reduce attendances still further.

I think most organisations that have a membership scheme and a joining fee only charge a joining fee about equal to one months membership and not FOUR
