If it was just a one off journey you had fair enough. I had to make mine around 6 times because i'd go and stay a week or so at a time. Split up with her after a year and 4 months and only then realised how much of an asshole she is. Partly ruined my A Levels. Also wanted to get with someone else before i even met my ex, and finally got the chance after i started going out with her. Rejecting that was painful!

Yeah lets have a bit of commitment! <laugh> Leave it on 99,999 for the morning.

Only way of finding out would be whose name it says in last post when posts say 100,000. Be pure luck to find out who that is!

    130ish to go!
Last year when wor lass moved back to Sheffield for a year, I was travelling 80 mile round trips 3 times a week to see her, put serious mileage and petrol in my car but the routine actually helped my uni work as her not being there helped with the hard graft and I was always awake early due to her working and getting in the routine of that from when I visited.
I had the life of a single guy full of beer and video games and going out with mates and then the girlfriend when I wanted!
Now if I'm not busy with uni work, she's there! Not saying that's always a bad thing, just that I had it amazingly good last year!

We could go all out and make single picture posts in the NSFW thread. Would get done quick...

Yeah it was a one off, good three week holiday all in all. My course suffered too having her over, but still got more than enough points for the course I wanted. Shame about the other girl thing, typical that it'd end up like that though.

Doing game design at Teesside. Unfortunate location, but one of, if not the, best for the course in the country. Put my app in as soon as I finished with the ex lol.

She paid me half of the petrol money so it was all quite a canny deal really!
We used to take it in turns to pay for a meal once a week as well at somewhere like Nando's or Chiquitos and cos I had food parcels sent down by the parents and skimped & saved food shopping, I had a lot more disposable income than I do now living with her - funny that!

I got Diesel for the insurance and cheap tax, my 1.5 DCI Clio had a 0-60 in about 12.5 seconds and was only £1k to insure a year and £30 a year tax, top speed of about 135mph (before I was caught speeding and hence slowed down I would nip down to Sheffield at about that fast). It also got around 50mpg
My pug 206 2.0 HDI gets 0-60 in about 1.5 seconds faster than the Clio, is £1.2k to insure a year and about £60 road tax and gets similar mpg as the Clio.
Since I live away from home and regularly travel between home & Leeds or Leeds & Sheffield (to visit her parents) I'd never consider anything but a diesel in fairness.
I'm waiting til I'm 25 and can get insured on a Land Rover in all honesty, as that's what the rest of my family drive, maybe by that time my parents will be thinking of replacing their new Freelander and I could have it <whistle>!

Aye got loads leftover still in my freezer, just had one of the lamb steaks from Homer Hill tonight and it was beautiful!
Also used their mince tonight to make a chilli in the slow-cooker for tomorrow night, can't wait.
Honestly never had a bad piece of meat from there - definitely the nicest meats I've ever tasted and I've been to a fair few butchers in my life, not mentioning supermarkets!

    Is that the new Ibiza?
I was looking at getting one of those to replace my Clio once I had a job, but with the Clio going and having to go for a cheaper replacement, I got the Pug and I've been very happy with it so far that I doubt I'll trade it in for a few years now.

Their packs of chicken aren't too badly priced if I remember rightly, some of their stuff is a little bit more but it's worth it.
Definitely try their cooked ham if you can, that and their pease pudding is making me drool even now at the thought of it <laugh>.
