Well GRB is going on the Sexy Poll, so it's probably already done!

I hate travelling altogether, unless it's for good reason! How far you gotta go?

Haha yeah that should definitely help <ok> :p

Yeah, I mean a book a week is possible like but just not something I wanna do when it's books I don't even wanna necessarily read.
I'm awful at revision too. I found some notes the other day from history A level revision and it simply just said 'Mary - 1553... Liz - 1558... Ed - 1547'. Surprised I even managed a C to be honest ha.

Sociology was basically just blagging your way through, but sometimes having to back it up with dates and such. It was easy though. Dependent upon what teacher you had I suppose as well. My teacher was always a bit fun and told good stories, which helped. A bit of revision could easily get you an A. I got a B overall though, ****ed up in my last exam and got a D which brought my other 3 A's down. oh well ha.
i made it into uni, it's all that counts now!
just do whatever you think you wanna do for the rest of your life and what you're good at, what you enjoy. sounds obvious, but some people pick uni courses without knowing what they wanna do when they're older. i appreciate some people just dont know but for the money you'll end up paying it's something people really need to properly consider.
i'm hopefully off into teaching. the girlfriend already bought me elbow patches, so i'm all prepared.

not too far! Lincoln to Manchester, so about 2 n half/3 hours which isn't really much, but i just get twitchy and jumpy and can't sit still normally so it's frustrating for me a bit ha. Gotta go earlier than I'd like though because it's the only lift I can get back.
air travel is a nightmare for me too. and cinemas...

Yeah i know that pain, worst I ever had was London to Inverness on a train, 8 hours. Was horrible. Especially as my iPod failed to charge and lasted 20 minutes!

Bit in bold is exactly why I didn't go to Uni last year! Didn't want debt for something I may hate.

The books i read at A Level were so bad in general, although for coursework I did read 1984 which is possibly the best book i've ever read. So evened out a bit!
I wasn't cut out for revision, took about 300 pages of notes in History lessons over 2 years, at least. Never had a folder, got home, took the paper out my bad and chucked it in a box. Box ended up with everything i brought home from school in it. Trying to revise History when it's mixed in with Maths and English notes isn't advisable! When I did find History one's they made about as much sense as yours too!

ouch. sounds bad man! ha. i think my worst is only like to wales, which was something like 4 or so normally, but by coach, which always adds on about a million more hours. or when we were driving back from manchester to lincoln just before christmas when it snowed loads and the roads were really bad - it took over 2 hours to just get out of manchester. ended up in the back arse of nowhere, as my mate lives in a village near here, creeping down a path totally iced over about 6 or 7 hours after we left. not good when i just dont do travelling whatsoever

Yeah it's good when doing decent stuff, like clockwork orange or dracula or frankenstein or whatever. it's just books like little women, which is just so depressingly 'nicey nice' it hurts -.-
i never found out the advantage of taking notes in class until it came to revision. scruffy notes with ink all over the page and pictures of penises and cartoonized historical figures never ever helped!! haha

anyway, i best dash. laptops on it's way out like and i might head to bed anyway. early night but i could probably do with some sleep ha.
enjoy the 100,000th if i'm not on to celebrate <ok> ha

    ttfn!

I threw up after 2 on a coach before, though that was after i'd already done 8 on trains. My ex was far from worth all this travel! And nah ice adds to the fun and makes things more enjoyable!! Walking to the pub with me old man just before Christmas and was walking down a hill, I did a good slide then grabbed the fence when i was near the bottom... my 49 year old dad with a bad back topped mine by far then fell straight on his ass at the bottom <laugh>

And yeah you get forced to do so much crap. My Module for my A Level in English was Love through the ages. ****test thing ever.

I never thought detailed notes would benefit me, just quick ones as i'd get through more... not how it works!

Can't see it happening tonight mate, unless i post 200 or so myself!

blimey, that's a hell of a lot of traveling for a girl! i could never be arsed to do the 20 minute walk to my girlfriends house <laugh>
haha ice is good yeah, my mate's the driver and he slides and skids a lot, but down a back arse tiny path with ditches either side isnt always appealing ha :p

<laugh> haha. sounds ace. ice sliding is brilliant but there's always gotta be someone who falls over! i ALWAYS managed to go out in the slippiest shoes ever when it's icy too!

well, you could do 200 posts yourself.. bigger incentive as you'd also hit your 1000th around the same time ha ;)

    momentous occasion tomorrow though! ha
im definitely going now like! night <ok>

Try 3 flights and nearly 24 hours of travelling... Was worth it at the time.

<laugh> Yeah never again! Was rather stupid and a waste of a year and a half. Well a year because once I hit 18 i started clubbing, and forgot about her altogether for 5 hours a week!

I got a mate who drives like a rally driver... he's actually disabled as well! But thankfully never been out with him in tiny lanes on ice <laugh>

Yeah i'll probably just look through a few first page threads and make about 5 more posts tonight, should really sleep soon though, in case i get called into work at 8am again.

    Guaranteed Tash gets the 100,000th!

That part was still worth it, especially compared to what I've done since; cancelled my university application last year since that'd basically kill the relationship (she was over here for 6 months at the time), then ended up breaking up last October, leaving me stuck trying to find work and on the dole for a year until I get to uni.

I think it'll be quite early that it goes. Around 11. I won't even be awake by that time. Is there actually going to be any way to check who gets it?

Don't think so, since posts are numbered by the overall post number, not by our section.
