Although I have one exam next week then uni year 1 is overrrr.
so naturally, i'll have nothing to do.
and, naturally, will also be on here 24/7 ;)

You bastard. I have 4 exams, and a presentation to give, before my first year is over.

Then I have to spend my whole summer working. I will make sure you dont overtake me though. <grr>

Sorry ha. Different courses probably though so ya know :p I spent most of the past couple of months writing endless essays on books I never bothered reading -.- surprised I only had one exam but to be honest there's nothing left to actually write about..

I'll make sure I'm just one post behind you all the time then ;) :D

I've had a ridiculous amount of essays to write. And considering the lack of effort I was putting into them (and reading) I'm amazed to have only failed one (by 1%, what a bitch that lecturer is.)

I prefer exams to essays anyway, so not sure why I'm complaining. <diva>!

Not sure which I prefer. Neither, probably! Never prepared for exams I suppose. And since I never bother reading the books I suppose it's easier to do essays since I can have the book in front of me, rather than not being allowed to have it in exams...
I only failed one, by a couple of % because I referenced 7 additional resources in an essay proposal rather than 8 <doh> a bit harsh I thought but never mind.
Showed the bitch i was right though by handing in an essay I did at A Level after she said "You can't just hand in an A Level standard essay and expect to pass, it'd most likely fail"... and then passed quite well. <diva>

I'm much too lazy when it comes to essays, so I never do enough research. In exams I can get away with it.

We only have to use 4 resources in our essays, which I still sometimes struggle to make <laugh>.

I've been told the exams are at a similar level to that of A level, so I'm probably less worried about them than I should be!

I always think I'm more prepared than I am. Then realise I'm not that prepared. Then write an essay and always think I've done worse than I actually have done.
Not complaining though. Little work, decent end product. Lends well to a lazy life ha.

Yeeeah we get onto education a lot to be honest ha.
I study English at uni at the minute. No idea about anyone studying law. I know there's a couple of other people studying English too.
    Many many conversations ha.

I use the term study very loosely ha.

Now we're basically finished for the year me and a mate are planning on writing an epic fantasy novel, sort of The Hobbit meets Metamorphosis meets Animal Farm (for the politics). It's gonna be epic. And probably beer fueled.

Im looking to get back into education. Done English Lit at A Level, was surprisingly good at it despite no effort going in. Ended up with a C, should have tried harder. I'm looking to either go straight to Uni to do English(but not sure i'd enjoy it) or Accounting(another where my heart won't be in it i don't think), or do an A Level in Law then study it at Uni, been quite interested in it recently.

If you like reading in your spare time, DON'T do English. It'll ruin it for you. I read loads before I started my degree, then when I HAD to read, I lost interest in it. It's no coincidence that the other day, now realising that I've finished for the year, I went out and bought 3 books that I'm planning to read...

I like English because some of it's basically opinion based, so it's easy to blag. I don't like subjects that are TOO heavily based on facts and figures, i.e. maths etc. I liked history loads and was originally going to study that at uni but I could never remember all the dates and names and such.
Sociology was also a good one.
    Never did Law though!

Yeah was like that for me at A Level. I used to read before i started English A Level, then i was being told i had to read and given a deadline, it felt too much like a chore. Finished it around a year ago now, reading my 4th book since. Not great amounts but still enjoy it. I used to love Maths... until it became too formula based and just hated it then. Probably why I think about Accounting, it includes the sort of Maths i used to enjoy and im awesome at. That was my problem with History as well, remember all the events and the main names, but dates and other names never stuck.

I know a few people that took Sociology and apparently was absolute rubbish? Too much blagging involved and stupidly long essays about nothing apparently.
