I disagree personally.. He did what a manager should which is demand better.. I mean otherwise you're too happy to simply be in a job... Rafa whether anyone likes it or not was too big for Mike Ashley's nufc and not the other way around... Right now we have a manager that's happy with the objective and an owner that's under less pressure to deliver anything he doesn't want...it's sadly the way it needs to be... the only problem is a few sections of deluded fans and they're soon being replaced with younger fans that know their place in the sport.
Don't destroy the myth with your facts you twat. Let everyone pretend he was professional, fit and had a stellar attitude. You gotta love our fans blaming Pardew The evidence against that argument is not just huge, its absolutely non disputable. Ben Arfa blew his own career by being overweight and unprofessional. And a bit of a child too. Unless of course we are to believe that he was just really unlucky and all the managers he has played under were wrong? Still the most talented player we've had in the last 10 years though. Also if he had been professional, fit and had a great attitude, he'd have never been here. He'd have been at Barca or Real - he was that good. Just gotta accept it for what it was, a twat of a player but a talented twat who on occasion provided some incredible highs. Always slated to end in disaster, because that's his way.
Scores goals, good at passing, dribbling and can cross... Not a bad free kick taker.... Even over weight hrs better at everything compared to Joelinton..joe can't even hold it up or head the ball well and that would be the only two areas he should be better at.
As good as he was at times, there was always a sense of 'if only or what if' in the background. Players come and go, and you don't really give a **** for the best part, but, players like him come along once in a blue moon for us. Sure, he was up there with the best of the past 10 years, but, he could have been so much more. That he isn't spoken of as one of the greats is disappointing, knowing it was there for him to grasp. A genuine shame he just didnt have it within himself, due to a character flaw.
Just watching the Sir Bobby documentary, Hatem needed a manager like that. The Gazza and Bobby relationship, a proper manager
