Agree with Sir Alex, yes he has done well at times however, alway had a few bob to spend, got extremely lucky with a generation of youngsters

He has bought a lot of terrible players over the years apart from De Gea I honestly can't remember a decent signing since Ronaldo, if Carrick was after he hasn't done too badly, but still not exactly 'finds' and a poor returns ratio. Think one of his biggest achievements will be the last league title, the team he left Moyes with was absolutely awful if you consider the amount spent and what he was gifted through the youth system that kept him afloat for a decade!!

and relax, as you can guess, whilst I think there is no doubt he has done some amazing things over the years, yet not a lot has been made of his many, many failings
