Disagree about Bridge, he had a poor game, he could get better cos he has not played much. RICO has grown into the LB position and I never thought I would say tat cos he was dreadful when he started. I think Ces we also disagree about Bendtner, good first touch but the mobility of a built in wardrobe and will I suspect not score many goals.

McLean for me, just for the way he has taken the left wing position and made it his own. Alot of other teams and fans are taking notice of this lad and 6 months ago, nobody had ever heard of him. Closely followed by Sess.
Sess probably but since O'shea went to centre half he has been superb. WBA apart he has marshalled the defence brilliantly.
Player of the season - Sessegnon.......Runner-up - Larsson Young Player - Cattermole.................Runner-up - Colback
Gardner for me- he never got much of a look-in under Bruce but he always looks keeps things ticking over, scores some great goals, never shies away from a tackle, and showed great commitment even in the period during which he was supposedly unsettled. Who'd have thought after the Wigan defeat that we'd have this many candidates for player of the season!
O'Shea for me, has marshalled the defence brilliantly, even given Mig additional confidence. Richardson very close second as his support and always being there to assist McClean with his pace has brought the young player of the year on a great deal. But hang on, we have to win the ball first, enter Cattermole and Colbeck into the equation. Oh and we have to put the ball in the net, bring on Sess and Gardiner. This years results are too close to call, sowe should give it to Sir Niall as player of the year and MON as the young member of the team sorted I think
Oh good question and a few weeks ago really only Larsson in the running. Well Sess is an obvious choice hope he comes back rested an raring to go to claim the crown. Think O'Shea has recovered from a truley awful start and would have him in the mix. McClean for young player obviously but as said young Jack impressing at the moment. Can we have a Lazarus of the year award for Fraizer?
Think he "grew into the game" pitt but agreed look very wobbly up to half time. But I agree with Cest think the second half showed it was just a lack of games thing and he is a solid enough performer who will only get better as the rustiness is shaken off.
Well I thought at the start of the season Brown was flying and I'd still pick him over turner. Due to his absence he 's out of the running. O'Shea I would have happily drove back to Manchester at right back but as everyone else says top class at centre half and a real contender. Bardsley again I thought started the season poorly. His sending off against the mags slowed his progress but he now seems back to his best. Not enough for player of the season though. Cattermole - just hasn't played enough and has only improved since MON came in so not for me. Larrson has been quite consistent. And played well under Bruce even when played on the left wing - probably just in the lead for me at the minute. Sess' has had to adapt his game and has made himself key to the team. His sending off could scupper his chances but a strong finish to the season could see him take it. Gyan - only joking! Mcclean has really defined our season! We have never looked back since the lad came off the bench against Blackburn. If he keeps strong He could nick it.
How Richardson's been mentioned is beyond me. Admittedly he's had some top games but he's also had some dreadful ones. Sess since Bruce left. Larsson before. Also think Vaughan has been very strong when he's played. Wouldn't like to call it.
O'Shea, shaky start, improved game on game. Rarely made a mistake after moving to his proper position. The one for me. Brown would have been a shoe in if not for the injury. Sess (had to come back after completing this thread as nearly forgot him) Needs passing/shooting practice. Good player. Frustrating. McClean has had 3/4 good games and gone off the boil. Bardo, great at L/B. Seems to be something about R/B that bring the worst out of a player. Although still OK (Best player at R/B was the few by Gardener) Ricco, Please.Give over. Vaughan, Gardener, Turner not played enough but all playing well (surprised by Turner mind) Colback,See Ricco. Still a quarter of the season to go so prepared to have my mind changed. Mr Richardson/Colback only an FA cup final winning goal will do.
