10 Games played, usually gives a fair indication?

Cheers OLM .... no coincidence that you are in Leicester so often then?

I think we've definitely got enough to go up. We've outplayed Brighton, Blackburn, Blackpool and other good sides and even Leicester didn't look amazing, I thought it was more us being bad than them being good when we played them.

There's no Southampton in the league this season, they were a really good side even if they did finish behind Reading in the end. We've got as good a chance as anyone but it will depend on us strengthening in January when everyone else does. Come on Allams don't **** about this time.

I think we should make the top 6 and I would be disappointed if we did not. Still, if we get close and Bruce is given funds in the off season to get the squad that he needs then I will think of this one as a work in progress. If we go up next season I will hardly remember this one.

On the turnstiles at Fer Ark with my dad and Uncle John...who btw was also a taxi driver and used to take some of the players home after the game. After they'd nipped in to see their mistresses as they was called in the olden days. Imagine the press now.

I never actually go into Leicester, I just drive round the edges. A bit like visiting a zoo.

Nah sadly I don't, and have never claimed to either. I was just a kid when I helped out on the turnstiles. Many many years ago.

You give enough of a **** to repeat it. I keep forgetting how sensitive you are since you resigned from being a mod, so I'll hold off in the future on gentle ribbing at your expense. Sorry for upsetting you.

If you want to try a little gentle ribbing, have a go at injecting some humour, otherwise you just come across as being bitter.

though we may have thrown away 4-6 points so far this season , im sure most clubs in the mix will be able to point to similar shortfalls , i like the football we are playing , that going a goal behind doesnt mean we lose 1 nil ,
City have threats from all areas of the park now and those "pass to Koren" teeshirts are a bit redundant now.

This year is a learning curve for Bruce and the players. We have quite a few new faces and a manager with very different ideas. The original players are being asked to play in a different way and we're not having the best luck with injuries.
After the January window I think we'll see it all coming together and hopefully there will be a few more signings / loans to cover the weaknesses SB will have identified.
The thing I feel most optimistic about is we now have a very experienced manager. He is unflappable and his confident, layed back approach will probably rub off on the players when the real pressure starts. Pearson couldn't deal with the business end of the season, nor could NB, but I think Bruce just might.

I think we will finish in the top 6.

    We may even get promotion..

I am sure Steve Bruce will sort any problems that come along and the Allams will back him if and when asked .

Bruce said he's always had a tough no nonsense midfield player in his sides.. this is where I expect him to change the side as and when..

I would be amazed if we didnt see a central midfielder come in between now and the end of the season

He started against Fulham and came on as a sub against Chelsea and Stoke, I think it's unlikely they'll let him go out on loan.

Reading after 17 games only had 21pts on the board. We all know what happened to them last season. City have done really well against the so called big teams. Cut out the defensive howlers and a top 2 spot is well on the cards. imo

Well than, PL here we come. Its as simple as that now.

City could well be sitting in 2nd spot now joint top with Cardiif but for the those last 2 home games. I wont even consider the Blackburn and Charlton away games for more points being chucked away. Only Lesta have deserved the win against us this season.

In fact Lesta are 6pts better off than they should be. Lucky wins @ home to Blackpool and Burnley and that Dyer fluke @ Middlesboro last week. When can we have some luck like that ?

We have good depth in the squad now and when ALL our injured players are back fit Steve Bruce has a massive headache,, imo.
