I think it will take until the half way stage before we can really say we know what we can expect - after 10 games Zola still only says he knows his best team roughly

Last season I reckoned early December was the point at which to take stock and things started to improve around then. I don't see any reason to view things differently this season - although we do appear to be a lot better at the moment in comparison to this this point last year.

A lot better in what sense BB - not in points gained certainly - see my comment #17 above

Playing a lot better - more attractive football, looking more likely to win than we were last season, better squad of players.

I agree BB - I was really sceptical, but when we get it right it's quite breathtaking. We are going to give someone an absolute mullering if we can keep the performances up for more than half an hour. I hope it starts with Posh - we should be looking at giving them a pasting then taking that confidence down to Cardiff.

This is a case where statistics don't tell anything like the whole story. I think you'll find that people who've been able to see a few games are much more optimistic than those who just read the stats and see the pitiful BBC highlights.

I am happy with the start we have made. We have played some wonderful football away from home and we showed a lot of potential against Boro at home. If things go our way, we will demolish teams. We are well within reach of the playoffs and we are consistently improving. I am positive. I have to eat some humble pie, I hope I have to eat the whole thing come april

I am sure that is the case which is why even now I am optimistic of a mid table position - we are in transition and style wise are moving quite radically away from where we used to be. I fully support what Zola is doing and only wanted to know in what sense BB meant we were better

I am really pleased with the changes , a bit of financial stability and a team and manager that try to play attractive football, lots of new things to implement. players ,systems coaching staff ,new ideas etc . I wasnt expecting more than 10 points from 10 games in this embryonic and formative stage, I would consider our 13 ahead of schedule indeed with half decent officials I think 17 pts would be a fairer reflection of where we really are at. This squad and this team is only going to improve as the season goes on ,play offs maybe, promotion maybe ,but if not this season then next season we will be a real force.
Keep the faith , back the lads Forza Watford and maybe see a few of you at blackburn.
