FFS lads we sacked a better manager than Hollowhead.Has he lost the plot ? Claims brum scored 3 goals from 4 shots but brum had 16 shots was he watching the game ? or was he wearing TC's wally tinted glasses.Anyway you lost the battle of the bottom so you look nailed on for Gillingham next season.
4 shots or sixteen shots, three of them went in and thats what counts. Olly! Where's our striker, we've benn asking for three seasons and still nothing.
Plus Birmingham missed a sitter from three yards, when Forde spilled a shot at brum players feet............terrible. Until Brum scored their first goal, we were in total control and looking fairly good, then an attack that developed in our left back position was not dealt with (becoming a bit of a habit .....Malone needs to get some instruction on how to defend correctly....very weak positionally and in the tackle)... Then the second goal....Forde spends an age sorting out the wall to protect his right hand sand of the goal and allows shot go in left hand side of the goal that he is covering......awful. Half time subs... Chaplow for Hoyte.....I thought that Chaplow had a pretty decent game, defended well as was very progressive O'Brien for Upson....O'Brien was the catalyst for a good second half performance by Millwall, full of energy, quick in thought and movement Gregory had a good game, lots of good movement (which was not picked out by our midfield), energy and passion...looks like he will be a real handful for opposition defences Ranegie had a good game, and I suspect that if he is regularly paired with Gregory then they will complement each other Williams as usual had a pretty decent game Dunne did not win a clean header all night long, up against big strikers he is not capable...end of Beevers is having to cover the shortcomings of Dunne, and as a consequence he is making mistakes Malone, in my opinion, is having a very poor run games....he cannot defend (particularly towards the end of a match, when he looks very 'leggy') and when he bombs forward, he may look exciting but the end product is not of sufficient quality, he needs to play the simple ball rather than trying to beat the full back two or three times....get the ball into the box earlier rather than trying to always make the bye line... We seem to have developed a habit of 'overplaying' when we have the ball, rather than playing simple passes. When we defend, we are defending like we did last year under Lomas...bit of a shambles to be honest. We need to get back to basics, otherwise we will have a very long hard season ahead of us...we do not need wholesale changes..just a little adjustment here and there.... After matching Forest at home we have been mullahed by Rotherham and Brum...........mental
Quite correct Whites... however, I doubt if any of the teams in the championship would be able to compete against teams in the old fashioned Division 2 in years past. The standard of football is really not that good, although the games are more exciting than Prem football because the teams are quite evenly matched
1 win in 11 games.Your best ever manager is sat in the Wolves dugout.and Lomas was better than Hollowhead with a better record.Palace stitched you up with numbnuts.
Did you have a bet on this bad run Chesh. The odds wouldn't have been great but it's always nice to profit from other people's misery.
No m8 but I did tell them they wouldn't win any of their next 10 games 7 matches back.So I wish I had.
Don't be picking on Chesh, him and me had every faith you would get a draw today. At 0-3 when you were hiding we posting that we thought you would do it.
