I was being hopeful when I thought we'd sign someone before the Forest match...looks unlikely now as the process seems quite long. We do seem to be active in the market, but the hard part is probably that we are after real class and so is everyone else.

Yes, that's right. He can't sign a contract with us until he gets his work permit, and he can only get his work permit from the British Embassy in Tokyo, which is what he's doing right now. Then he has to com back to Southampton to sign the contract, which physically all takes time, as the poor guy has to eat and sleep in between all the flying around the globe.
 
I just don't know what we'll do if we end up with just the squad that only managed to get us to the top of the table.... it'll be terrible. :o
