ELO (Out of the blue is probably the best album in the world, ever) ACDC Bryan Adams Rolling Stones The Who There are loads more though; Queen, the Eagles, Beatles, Small Faces, Genesis, Springsteen etc etc, which had I had posted this reply on a different day would have made my top 5.
I was never into Motorhead, but Lemmie was certainly one of those characters that made you sit up and take notice. A great loss to rock music. I never knew they were due to perform here in Swindon - was that at the Wyvern, or the Oasis?
I assume that the concert will be cancelled now then. If it somehow still goes ahead, and you do attend, I strongly recommend that you get there very early. I play football there on a Friday evening and the traffic and parking is utter chaos when there is a concert taking place - the sports facilities still get used even with a concert on. The council have also been rearranging the road layout on the Great Western Way which leads to the Oasis (assuming that you approach directly from the M4) and this forces 2 lanes into 1 and more traffic misery - especially around rush-hour.
As Motorhead were top of the bill, I can't see this going ahead in any way shape or form now, but thanks very much for the advice.
