Can't argue with the result.

Might not be pretty at times, but it's winning football.

Sometimes you just have to do what's required. Although I would love to not have to be so heavily reliant on the defence, they can take huge pride in their efforts and performances.

in our defence.. Chester & Rosenior are PL class IMO.. Dawson has already played there and so is Gerrard (although he's not our player..)

Leeds come to Preston on Tuesday. Phil needs the points. What are the chances of him getting that first win and helping us out?

Great result today and most of the results going in our favour. Shame about TWS winning (i have them all over my facebook news feed at the moment acting like they've won the league) but can't complain really! Well done Matty and Happy Birthday

Great result, our best unbeaten away run of all time now! Thanks to the Pearsons for getting us going again (put that in your pipe and smoke it Tony-Warners-Face!) Well done to Matty for the goal on his birthday! Great day,get in UTT!!!

I didn't see the game though, so I couldn't comment on the performance.

If it helps, I don't think we'll get into the playoffs.

Its not all about performances though which is why I think you frustrate a number of fans on here. You seem to criticize the team, even when we win (although the performances may not be the greatest) and forget that a win is a win. Look at arsenal, they play some of the best football in europe but win naff all. And if I'm honest, I don't think we will either. I think that leicester have the best chance of challenging for a play off place, the amount of money they've been able to spend and the players they've bought in should see them over the finish line imo.

I do, but that's just because people can't see where I'm coming from sometimes. I'm a harsher critic than most, but when I'm paying £16 to travel back every week (without factoring in season ticket cost) on a small income, it gets frustrating to watch football like what we're playing this season. Some days it just doesn't seem worth it, that's why I'd like the performances to be better. It's not the style of football, it's the lackluster approach.

It is not where you are coming from, but, where you are going to, and how quickly, that I wish to know about!

Just give up then numnuts and let somebody else sit in your seat, somebody who might get behind the team.

6-4 to preston last time round though porkin scored half of them.

Preston got very lucky yesterday, Hoolahan tried the old Dwight Yorke penalty chip and made a Gary Lineker of it, so they let them have a point. Can't see them beating Leeds although I'll have my fingers crossed.
