Newcastle are still unbeaten this season, although they have had the rub of the green a couple of times against QPR and, more recently, Wolves.

I am just wondering whether this might be the game where their luck runs out and I quite fancy Tottenham here, especially because Spurs will be buoyed by beating Arsenal in their last outing.

Let's not be too hard on Newcastle, though, because their central defensive pairing of Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor does look very strong, and Yohan Cabaye has impressed me in midfield. Tim Krul is clearly going to be a top-class goalkeeper too.

But I see this as being the game which might make Newcastle boss Alan Pardew re-evaluate their season after an excellent start. They are not a top four side and, if they finish in the top half of the table with the squad they have got, then they have had an outstanding season.

For me, Harry Redknapp's side still look the most likely to get fourth place, and I would expect them to underline that by winning at St James' Park.

Prediction: 0-2

Where the luck runs out???!!! F*** Me!! Lawro winds me up!! Is Hard work, Team Work and being Committed to the Cause and having team Unity all about LUCK??!! I F*cking hate that scouse prick!! On another note....a 0-2 Defeat ....means a 2-0 Win!! Prepare the celebration boys!!

It's pretty much what we all predicted he would say. It will be great if the boys prove him wrong (AGAIN) on Sunday.

edit
We just need that mong Merson to back Spurs and the points will be ours!

YES! We're bound to win now! He's cursed Spurs to doom! >:-}

Even if we lose... i doubt we'll be "re-evaluating" our season. Going 7 games undefeated is a massive achievement, and if we go the full season only getting beaten by the big boys, then I'll be over the moon.

No one around Newcastle thinks we'll finish 4th, we're not stupid and neither is Pardew. We're not going to finish 4th, but i don't think it's deluded to say we could push for a top 7 place.

No team outside the top 5/6 have a better pair of CB's/CM's than us, we have good quality in the attacking mid sections in HBA, Marveaux, Jonas and Obertan. We have a pair of strikers that share good chemistry and have scored 7 goals between them so far, which is a decent total considering neither of them have started every game so far.

STFU!!! Toon title by 10 points!!

This arsehole was the same about us when we had Robson. We started the league really well and when we played leeds he said something like this. He actaully went on to eat his words that time.

Howay the toon
