Think we look miles better than last season. Today reminded me of a loss that we would suffer under Poch or Koeman. Where we were fighting and the better team for long periods. It didn’t remind me of the last few years where we were comfortably battered
So I wasn't there and wasn't able to watch it, are we saying it was similar to the Utd defeat a couple of weeks back, or were we a bit ****?
Yes but Wolves away was always going to be a tough fixture despite their slow start. They've spent ****loads of money again but there really wasn't much between the teams.
I was there and we were pretty good. Not as good as against United - I'd say a 7/10 performance. My only criticism really is we didn't test Sa enough. But like I said, Wolves are a good team and bloody tough to break down at Molineux so a 1-0 loss was not a surprise to me at all. I was half expecting it TBH.
Not quite as good as we were against United, but the better team and a long way from ****. 9 times out of 10 we get at least a point in that game. Che could have scored with any part of his body, including little Che, but instead it went in off his hand.
I really look forward to seeing what Edozie can do after training for more than 1 day with his new teammates. It was understandable that he wasn't on the same wavelength as the other players although his pace and dribbling ability became obvious to me very quickly. With more training sessions, getting to know everyone better and working with them, he could very quickly become one to be very excited by.
Ha to be fair it sounded like he often didn’t have anyone to pass to. I also expect he wouldn’t be off buying a Burger King/Mc Donald’s straight after losing an FA Cup final.
I've just watched it. I rarely rant at Ralph or the team but ****in' hell, that's got to be one of the worst misses ever.
Overall a really good performance just missing the finishing touch. Che shoulda had a brace today but that's his nature so not much to be done about it, just move on. We created plenty of opportunities and out-fought them in every area of the pitch. Just undone by basically a mishit on one the few breakaways they managed to engineer. Wolves look very underwhelming this season. We on the other hand look hard to beat, when we get Edozie and Mara on the same page we really could have something special. ABK is shaping up to be my fave signing in forever.
I’m guessing we’re not expecting to have a main goal scorer this year, and expect goals to come from many players. Feels a bit risky to me.
I wonder if they have plans for a striker next window? I think the goals will come as the players settle in.
I don't pretend to understand the intricacies of loan 'transfers', but is the loan window still open, and if so, could we find a striker from somewhere? As a side issue, the comments after the defeat could be construed as one of the politest meltdowns not606 has ever seen.
