He was always a great ambassador for the club and role model for the players and i'll certainly miss him. If only every player could have his attitude and sense of duty.
Never quite became a permanent first choice but stepped in and steadied the ship several times. With 6 months left and Ralph liking to give game time to players i wish him all the best in moving on to find more.

Still will never forget him for how nice he was to my dad.

For those that don't know,

My dad was in hospital having chemo for cancer (now recovering thankfully) in Southampton General. Southampton visited the cancer wards when he was having chemo. Yoshida walked over to my dad and chatted to him for about 30mins then gave my dad his training top. It brightened my dads day greatly, I can't thank Yoshida enough.

Thank you Yoshida, sad to see you go

...And as if I had a sixth sense, I started reading his autobiography yesterday!

Thanks Maya. Those are heartfelt thanks, for your professionalism in the midst of madness sometimes and for all the good you have done in and around the City.

Oh and for being when all is said and done a very good footballer.

Loved his autobiography! It really demonstrates what a great guy he is.

A consummate professional in the age of giant man-babies. Prone to pulling the odd Yoshida of course, but nonetheless a dedicated and good footballer - a credit to the club, but more importantly himself.

A thoroughly likeable chap and all round good influence too by all accounts. I'll miss him and wish him the very best of fortune.

Picked it up a few weeks ago but didn’t purchase. Definitely will now. Good luck Yoshi. Thanks for everything. You’re a star.

I would never have thought he would leave us as a fan favourite that will always be welcomed back. He was so shaky in his early day but he grew with us. All the best to him and hope to see him back at the club one day!
