They don't go a lot on healthy disagreement on CL. The accepted wisdom is that protesting has to cost big bucks to be effective. It doesn't. I find it sad that they can't see that, that taxigate was an embarrassment.
I think today’s statement is the final nail in Everitt’s credibility coffin. So Murray says the takeover is taking longer than anticipated ....last October Everitt said it was “imminent” and in Feb he said it was a “done deal” #nocredibility
Sky Sports now reporting that the takeover won’t happen until at least the end of the season. Assume they have been tipped off today. Everitt exposed as a bullsh1tter.

The arrogance in this post below is almost surreal. An ex Director. - a wealthy and successful man owed a charge by the Club ...being lectured and contradicted on the takeover by a guy who’s career peak is editing a fanzine.
I noticed this. He didn't like David Smith knowing more than him, and belittled what he said by saying that Roland wanted more than the club was worth that was all that mattered.Something like "all the rest is noise".
RE has dug David Smith out a few times on that thread, I think the ex Director has been remarkably restrained in his responses to him. It’s a bit like Elfs belittling Warren Beatty’s CV for pulling beautiful women. Everitt has got to be seen to have the last word, full stop. Everything else is secondary. It’s an extreme form of narcissism.
Rick gets a bit petulant when his status as the font of all knowledge is challenged. Blames his sources. "Not me, guv". I still don't think he's the cynical liar that Murray has proved to be, but he still doesn't get that he's been directly responsible for raising false hopes time and again.
