Some make a really simple task into something complicated. All the best takers are the same - pick a corner then hard and low. Trying to do a stupid skip or stutter because Jorginho did it a few times is madness. All keepers should wait until after the ball is kicked before diving these days, they would save all those down the middle as well as any hop/skip twats.
I accept the player made the most of it. But a keeper has to get the ball in challenges like that otherwise any contact with the striker will be given as a foul.
I totally get it, and I don't disagree with what you're saying, or that it's a pen. Just that if that's a pen, then it's no wonder that players dive at every given opportunity. I just don't like it. Really makes the beautiful game rather ugly.
