    Happy for Messi though he may not be the GOAT (that was Maradona) but he is certainly the the best in the last 20 years.

    I thought for a minute Spain has won the World cup.with the sky being lit up.by fireworks amid much happy shouting. Then I remembered there is a big diáspora of Argentines living here in Palma de Mallorca and elsewhere in Spain! Wonder where ex-pat Argentines will leave a flag in London?

    Seems like questionable advice from his agent. Might be priced out of a big move. Sure it might mean he get a much higher priced move and can command a corresponding salary. But it is equally likely that some teams back off as a result. If he has close to 5 years and has just won a world cup that probably puts him in or close to nine figure territory. What clubs will pay that and have openings? Can't be a long list
