Davies is priced about right and personally i think he is slightly over priced at £8m ....But it's work in progress for the young lad and he will be a fool moving to spurs where he will be 3rd choice and wont get as many games to improve. I reckon in a couple more seasons with us he could if he works hard be worth in the region of £15m -£20m and he should look at other players who have ruined or halted their progress by being tempted by a few more quid like sinclair, dorus and pratters for example....If he don't heed any advice then jinx should base his value to us and what we could lose and therefore we at this stage of his development is worth a selling fee of £12m - £15m at the very least...
Daily Mail article "Tottenham are determined to overcome a transfer wrangle with Swansea City in their attempts to land left-back Ben Davies. New Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino wants the Wales international to be his first-choice left-back next season. Spurs and Swansea have been locked in talks over a proposed move for Davies - who is valued at £12million - to White Hart Lane. Tottenham thought they had made a breakthrough in discussions last Friday, after tabling an offer for the full-back that they believed was enough to snare Davies. Sportsmail understands the 21-year-old was even due to arrive at the club's Enfield training ground on Monday for talks. However, sources close to the deal claim Swans chairman Huw Jenkins pulled the plug on the deal over the weekend, causing a delay in the move. New boss at White Hart Lane: Mauricio Pochettino wants Ben Davies in his team next season New boss at White Hart Lane: Mauricio Pochettino wants Ben Davies in his team next season Pochettino still remains highly interested in signing Davies ahead of next season, and Tottenham are trying to revive the deal. However, it remains to be seen whether an agreement can be reached following the wrangle. Davies is also attracting interest from Atletico Madrid."
Well If there is interest from the winners of La Liga, surely the 8 mil offer is a piss take. Spurs if you want him pay what he is worth.

See I told you I'd sort out Daniel Levy Good to see that yet again Huw won't be bullied into selling players if it doesn't meet the clubs valuations. Got to be looking at around 15-20 million now.
I think £12 Million is the least Spurs should pay for a strong left back of Davies quality, at least Huw is pushing it in the right direction!.............
