And as far as Knackeredjack goes, he has the knack of drilling down to the crux of most arguments and coming out with a sensible opinion as a result which makes him one of my favourite posters. I knew I had a fan club out there somewhere. Maybe Dai can be Chairman (how ironic), Noway can be Secretary (complete with nail file and lipstick) and DPJ can be (yes it has to be) the tea lady.

At the risk of this turning into a bit of a lovein I'm also a fan of Knackered's posts. He usually does post sensible posts and get's to the bottom of arguments and usually reaches a sensible conclusion.
I fully take your point that running a football club costs a huge amount of money but I doubt that Swansea City costs millions of pounds a day to keep running. Players wages could be £100,000 a day, plus the back-room staff, admin staff, travel, hotel costs, training facilities etc etc etc. I felt you had overestimated for effect. Or am I missing something huge in the figures?
Noway: Where's your fan club? Having a meeting in a telephone box? No aswan, it's not you that's missing something...
I'd be worried if you got references from normal posters Knakered Aussie, but from aswan, well say no more!............ On a serious not, though Aussie, my only observation is that, when you lose your argument, and you do, you resort to getting personal, as you have done with Norway, but then you always complain about that, when it is aimed at you, If I can see this, then I'm sure many others have too, that read these forums. And while your posts as aswan has stated do get, quite often too the heart of the matter, you seem to be very reticent, in having them challenged, what we all have to remember is that these boards are merely views and opinions, and for them to succeed, there must be mutual respect accorded to all, which clearly currently you are having great difficulty with, in regard to Norway, and Dai, Light hearted banter and humour is one thing, but getting into personal attacks really does invalidate your point of view. As for Norway I'm sure he too has a fan club, and is always objective, and respectful of other posters on here, something you could well emulate, in my view! million pounds a day ?????? where did i say that ......you read it wrong but it does cost a few million a year on things that you or i would not think about.

IT (presumably you're still referring to the amount of money that has to be spent on a DAILY basis) goes into millions of pounds............ I think that was where you said it would cost millions of pounds a day. Or am I wrong??
...... aswan on a serious but positive note, positive being the buzz word lately, it's my view that our Swansea board is not only growing, but has some of the best bunch of posters of any forum, and the balance can only be kept if we learn to respect each other, and Aussie and Norway are both top posters, who in my view should be setting the standard, rather than fighting, and I hope, that they both will move on and get on, for the benefit of this Swansea city forum, we have had quite a number of new poster over the last 6 months or so, and long may that continue, but infighting is counter productive, and we need to realise that, you are one of my favourite posters too aswan!.....

Don't really want to get into this again, but I think you'll find Noway called me 'Aussietwat' recently. Possibly on this thread. Can't be bothered to look. It's noticeable you've picked me up on personal insults but not others. No surprise. Oh, and I make no apology for having constant dig at Daiswan. Most on here find his constant and vitriolic attacks against Jenkins rather offensive. I like to treat him as a lead member of this forum's lunatic fringe. If I took him seriously then I really would get angry. Your overt encouragement of this person makes things a lot worse.
