It was a tongue in cheek comment and maybe over the top by including Nugent ,,, BUT......Yes to Hull City he is. imo.
No he isn't, we need a keeper and a striker so Koren is not worth more than a very good keeper and two very good strikers
"What jobs are there in a backwards reality for a dead hologram and an android with a head shaped like a novelty condom? " Red Dwarf - Backwards (Series 3, Episode 1). Nigel Pearson to play Kryten in the reboot?
Well done Oregon!! Always nice to hook up with another Dwarfer! Now will you please go to Blue alert and put in motion Space Corps Directive 34124?
Dazed is totally right, Koren via his agent is either looking for a move or a new contract. Simple as. I reckon he's thinking we've obviously got enough to tempt Heskey and he wants a piece of it. I also think the fact we are being linked with a plethora of midfielders suggest we might consider it. Double that bid and he'll go.
But part of his motivation is people felt he was. He was released by Milan last summer - it wasnt a Bosman, Juve didnt turn his head with the offer of more money and a longer contract - Milan released him because he was thought by Allegri as being too slow and his thoughtful, possession heavy style responsible for slowing down their attacks. Pirilo was angry and insulted before then going on to undoubtedly have his best season ever guidng a Juve that finished 7th the previous season to the title, winning serie a player of the year and achieving more assists than anyone else. Coincidence? And isnt it weird... 3 weeks ago if you'd asked your average English football fan to name the best 3 midfielders in the world Pirlo would probably get 1% of the vote. I'd imagine he'd score much better now, such is the power of an international tournament even after such a long, glittering career of world cup, league titles and european cup wins.
Agree he is a great footballer, but lets face it it was only against us!!! Lets see how the Germans combat him, you watch him get hit every time he receives the ball instead of backing off him like we did.
Looking at it that way, the Premier League has nudged up the reputation (both for better and worse) of the Club. Yeah we got into loads of debt and made some ridiculous signings but at the end of the day, we are a fully established 2nd tier side and I very much think that we'll be back in the Premier League sooner rather than later.
If NP has a black BMW, I saw him 1 mile from the Southampton training ground this lunch time. I thought it was him even before I saw the LCFC badge on the back window.
This would have been funny had the guy in the picture looked remotely like Steve Bruce. Which he doesn't.
Fair enough, that picture is more convincing. But still not funny. You Leicester gobshites accuse us of being "Obsessed" with Leicester, but you seem to love being on our board too.
