I'd really like him here, girlfriend is a Cov fan and he's really highly thought of there. Would feel slightly sorry for Bournemouth taking there main striker then beating them to their planned replacement.

Appears so - I'd rather we kept Hooper and Wolfy and spend the £3m elsewhere to be honest.

I've got a feeling that, RvW wants to stay but the club wana get rid and the club wana keep Hooper but the player wants out. No one knows if either of them will be here but the fact we have so many forwards has definitely hindered the chance for us to sign him. Good on him to go to Bournemouth and definitely get regular football. My concern is now that we know they wana get another striker in, will we start scraping the barrel for one.

That's probably what Eddie Howe sold to him Boots - "come here and be my main strike threat - go there and battle it out with Hooper/Van Wolfswinkel/Grabban/ Lafferty and Becchio".

I think that's about right, OCF, and probably the right decision unless Bournemouth go down.

Apparently he's agreed personal terms with AFCB, CC.

Think you could well be right, although not too worried about barrel scrapes just yet - plenty of time - disappointing though, think Bournemouth have a real player here...

I'm glad we missed out, pace can be very misleading, particuarly down in league one, can make you look alot better than you are.

3 million is an awful lot for an untried player.

I'm still waiting for someone who can pass a bloody football, nevermind all this pace and height.

Yet again, physical attributes, although I am thankful strength isn't at the top of Adams wanted list.

Perhaps we should sign Carrabuh then! Or even Stephen Fry! Seriously, Adams has said that he's looking at signings throughout the team, but he does need to know who is staying and who is going before he can do that. IMO, he saw Wilson as a promising 22 year old with potential for development. It didn't work out, but let's wait and see what happens before the end of August before we pass judgement.
