So Forest, Peterborough, Birmingham all very local, even Rotherham is only an hour ten minutes up the Motorway. Peterborough away, what was that £25 I think I paid for an away game, can't say for sure but it was about that, you are saying you would have went and watched Leicester away to Leeds last game of the season with nothing to play for had it been £25 or even £20 and it was the price that put you off??? Come on ACKJ you said yourself you watched the first 4 away and gave up because you were not pissing the league as all had expected and hoped, it was nothing to do with £35 a ticket. When did you honestly find out it was that much, today?

If AKCJ were a Leeds fan and refused to pay £60 for away trips, he wouldn't get to many.

Only properly cheap ticket I can remember this season was Hull's £14 student deal which was pretty good for their biggest fixture of the season.

And AKCJ, sorry but lots of fans in this division are still obsessed with us. I remember some comment on a Leicester forum about your fans all singing 'we all hate Leeds scum' when Portsmouth came to town. What the ****? <laugh>

His ****ty attitude towards running the club directly influences who Warnock is able to bring in, so you should care. Being apathetic to it does not make you a better person for being able to "rise above it".

The only alternative is discussing transfer speculation over and over again which makes me feel exactly the same way. "Lets just wait and see who he brings in I have confidence" just makes me think "here we go again". It's a two way street, just my way doesn't assume an unrealistic outcome.

Well don't join in then and when you see a player being linked or rumour thread avoid it if it makes you feel that bad. If I see a Bates out thread I might visit it and then if I do not like the way it is going I can avoid it... It is absolute nonsense turning every transfer speculation thread into a Bates hate one and who are you preaching too? Apart from Josh I think nearly everyone here already dislikes, hates, disproves of Bates and we all want to see him gone. The bottom line is WE DO NOT have a team to start next season and there WILL be more signings, the transfer speculation is all part and parcel of a group of supporters sharing rumours and stories to be debated.

I don't remember a protest at the Boro game. Then again, I don't go near the West Stand. All I rememebr about that game was that we had two players needlessly sent off, they had one sent off, and we had started the season with two losses.

However, I would add that a Saudi who "cannot afford to be associated with that kind of nonsense" would not lats long in our democratic society. You can't just shoot everyone you disagree with over here, like you might at home or in Bahrain. Motherfucker elite in those countries cause more problems - I don't want that here.

As for Bates, fact of the matter is that if you want a partner you will have to improve your relationship with the customer. Instead of treating us like dirt. A little further digging by the Saudi ****er would have led him to start understanding the market that LUFC lives within.

The potential is huge, as long as you treat the supporter with respect.

If all Bates wants is someone else who will happily treat us like ****, then the new investor can go forth and multiply already

I just don't see the point in getting excited by it when I know exactly what to expect. A load of "well it broke down at the last minute because they were greedy and didn't want to be involved with the nonsense of crowds protesting and blah blah everybody's fault by mine blah blah". That's it. That's what we have to look forward to in August, and nothing more.

Maybe he is becoming more demented as the days go by, rather than the months or years. You never know, we may be rid of him soon.

666 and Logi, the protest started at the Bremner statue/East Stand and then moved round to the West. A number of corporate-looking people were stood up at the top of the stand gawping down at us like we were the scum of the earth, having the nerve to protest. Maybe this imaginary Sheikh was one of them. Probably just one of Bates' hallucinations, mind. Comes with the dementia.

I remember being at the Ipswich game when the protests started at Bremner's statue and proceed round to the West stand. Didn't realise the exact same thing happened before the Boro game.

I'm sorry Ristac, but you've obviously been brainwashed by our glorious super-chairman, Lord Bates of Elland. You seem to be toeing the party line now - a lot!!, and you should really undergo some normalisation training. As it happens, Marko can arrange this for you before it's too late......

That was the feeling before the Boro game and it only went and got worse when we sold Gradel. The fans aren't stupid, they won't just start a protest over nothing. It still amazes me that peope actually expected us to get promotion and then were outraged when we were just below the playoffs in January.

Good job the Saudi investor did not have access to; Matthew Harding's family, the Internet, the Guardian, the BBC etc...

He might have found that investing with Ken is not such a great idea !!!
