Are people pissed off that Liverpool are finally signing promising young players,or are they pissed off Liverpool are actually spending money,as they have no right to according to some ''unwritten rule'' than us Liverpool fans know nothing about.

An interesting point though, it is funny how different fans see different things. I always see Liverpool as the media darlings - Redknapp, Collymore, Hansen, Thompson, Lawrence that dude of talk sport etc. It has always got on my nerves how the media are so Liverpool friendly. When Liverpool play on channel 5 or whatever channel it is now , no dig intended, the commentator refers to the players on first name terms.

Not being a wum I just find it interesting how different fans can have such different media perspectives.

There was no dig intended - they don't do it on sky they do it on Channel 5 or what it is - therefore no dig intended.

Interesting point KingEric. It always seems to me that the non- footballing media always look to mention Utd whenever any sort of football issue enters the mainstream news, but that's probably just laziness- picking on the most well-known name.
There do seem to be a disproportionately large number of ex-Liverpool players around as pundits, but that could be because the employers realise how expert and incisive and unbiased their opinions are.
I imagine it's the same reason that all the Utd supporters haunt our board.

Before anyone says Jamie Redknapp is ''Liverpool biased'' thats further from the truth,because he's biased towards any club his old fella manages and whoever his fat cousin plays for.
Phil Thompson can be a little bit ''Liverpool biased'',However he has an excuse,He's a Liverpool fan,an ex Liverpool player and captain.He's from Liverpool.
