Just reading through some articles, and apparently you've slapped a hefty price tag on Carroll. I really don't see why you can't just cut your losses and be reasonable about this. You had a manager who was given too much money to spend and he blew 35m on a player that didn't fit the system. If we were to offer you 8-10m that you could spend on a useful player, why wouldn't you just take it? Carroll is only going to stay at WHU if Fat Sam agrees to say, and sources say that 'Arry is going there at the end of the season, and Sam is leaving. Rodgers has said in the past it's a political stance you're taking in not allowing Carroll to leave for a lower fee, but I wish he'd take the spoon out of his arse. Carroll doesn't fit into your style, so you'd just be loaning him out again or having a useless player sit on the bench.
