But it might be what it's worth to him - especially when you think of all the free advertising he bleeds out of the club!
I apologise profusely for my complete lack of reverence to this great thread and all like minded contributors. My recent jousts with those who have been failed by Wearside's education system have had an adverse effect on my cognitive reasoning.
If prince william is willing to pay £180 for a #1 which he could've got done anywhere up here for less than a tenner then ****ing owt's possible in my book !
It was all a misunderstanding. Prince William walked in and said he needed a number one. The barber thought that was an invitation to take the piss!
This thread has gone seriously off topic and downhill ever since Hung said what a great thread it was
Yes I valued the car taking all that into consideration. If someone decides its not worth £6000 and offers less then I'll consider it. I think I'm being fair however. What I won't accept is some ridiculous clause penalising me after I've sold it.
They are both dicking around from what I can see. One is lowballing using silly things like relegation and HMRC as bargaining chips, the other is responding with the accelerated TV money on the horizon. They both know what the pros and cons are, that assessment has been done some smart geeky experts who work for them. The worrying development for me is them both stooping into the press for a swing. Hopefully any souring in relations can be overcome. That said she sounds a lot like Ashley with all this "it will be run as a business" rhetoric. I mean I expect it will but when you are serious about this stuff you do what Man City or PSG did and ignore common sense to sell a dream. i.e "we are going to buy the best and be the best". Maybe all that comes once you own it. I wonder if these venture capitalists who are backing it are Ellis Short type venture capitalists?
