That Benbow lad has said theres an update coming out of companies house later regarding the call back of SD shares and how it affects NUFC.

 

What I think he's going to say is that Mike's filed to buy about £297m worth of shares back and take SD private.

 

Had a quick look on Companies House and it looks unconnected to a sale of NUFC. Maybe Ashley's converting some of his shares to cash to fund a transfer widow war chest. There again perhaps not!

 

I wonder where he'd be getting that money from?

I personally don’t think it’s connected either. The document to which is referred to was dated in September 2017. Plus there seems to be monthly filings for share purchases.

I think the takeover will go through later in the year personally. It’s almost a case of do we win against Swansea and this Ashley tightens the purse strings because we would be mid table and that’s where he likes us to be.

 

We won’t be sold until the Summer.
