Dack is four times the player reid is hence we are after him. Reid needs to get some strength needs to build himself up.
I have not seen Dack play and know little to nothing about him, however, I do know that L1 players rarely go for £3 million price tags in Janauary, unless they are around the 20 goal mark. I suspect a bid between £1-1.5 Mill would do it. When is his contract up with the Gills, that will dent their valuatioon as well. We saw at the start of this season (I think there was even a thread on players values) that we thought we had players who would be in the £3m price bracket based on a great season in L1, and now look!!!! Dream on Gills fans
ive not checked but from memory he has 3 years left on his contract. As for dreaming as far has im concerned he aint for sale...but yes money will talk but if Scally sells him for the prices banded about at the mo i for one as a supporter for over 40 years will be pretty pd off....thats not dreaming thats saying he aint for sale.
if a prem club comes in for him i will wish him well....but i do not want him sold to the potential of next seasons competition...plus he is more valuable to us than 1.5 Million as part of the current young squad
http://www.kentonline.co.uk/medway/sport/gills-snub-city-approach-59466/ That's it then, we've been told 3 times to piss off, so lets piss off..
Exactly which is why a lot of Gills supporters believe he should stay until end of season....it will not affect his value to do so.
No disrepect to BC fans....but Gills supporters simply do not want him going any where regardless of the financial bonus for us.
If Dack wants the move the gills would need to listen, however if dack does not want to move then we move on.
To sum up my final thoughts who would i prefer to have Washington or Dack....hence the reason mosy Gills fan will agree to 1.5 even...because it would easily be Dack
No offence to Dack but he's not worth more than 1.5m. We paid 700k for Luke Freeman and even he has struggled a bit to step up a level. It's all well and good them saying "we want more" but the best team he's played this season is Wigan! Much higher calibre of player in the champ and at 1.5m he needs to be of championship quality.
Other clubs know we are desperate - the January window is a sellers market - no way were they going to settle for £1m However if the player starts to think about the wages he could be on then that might spur things on (not condoning that behaviour though)
That's another one chalked off this list, bid rejected.... Wonder who's at the bottom of what seems to be a long list of players to sign and whom no one else wants..
