You’d have thought so, unless they really have invested in Donald as he suggested. But even if they have, this latest PR fiasco isn’t showing him in a good light. With more to follow as well in the Athletic if that comes off. I doubt they appreciate that level of scrutiny.

Donald and Methven have drawn so much attention to themselves that they seem to be taking up all the focus and not the actual football. There obviously hasn't been a coherent plan from the start and they probably saw their initial investment as a short term loan that they would quickly profit...
