I hope Amos doesn't come back. I don't rate him. The problem is I see few other available keepers around at the moment.... Perhaps I'm being unfair on Amos, he is only very young. Or perhaps it's my natural distaste over any business with Utd :emoticon-0116-evilg

He'll fit in well at Charlton. So we'll be seeing him back at BP for the next Latics vs Latics game then. He was well liked so I'm sure he'll get a good reception.

What a shame. I agree with you in some ways though, he did make a few blunders and he was never the same without Gregan in the team. Still, I will be sad to see him go. I think he commanded the pitche well, and yes, he was the most obvious leader of the team as captain.

What an interesting article. I always thought it was completely random - hence some of the crazy fixtures we seem to have sometimes (eg, Exeter one week, Yeovil the week after)

I think the new fixtures for next season are out on Friday. I'm hoping that we get some good Saturday away games (as opposed to mid-week). Looking forward to a few days out - particularly Deepdale and Bury. Saturday means I can get the train and have a few drinks instead of fannying around...

I think play-offs are a realistic target, as ever. I don't think we could cope with promotion, at least this season, but I wouldn't mind a trip out for the play-offs next year. I would be really happy with a solid season and a good top ten finish - like metanome says 7/8/9th would be great...

Yeah I agree - the Huddersfield fans are quite arrogant. I live in Halifax (still only a 15-20 drive to BP) so you see quite a few of them knocking around. It's the big stadium - they're overcompensating for something I think <laugh>

It's a shame - although does anyone know where these rumours came from in the first place? Did he ever express a desire to come to BP after retirement?
