    Badger.

I've manage to fight the cravings by drinking herbal tea or water instead of extra eating so I've actually lost weight over the two weeks. I'd kill for a pint though but I have to put that off for a while longer :(

Not too bad chap. Stopped smoking recently so I'm a myriad of emotions at present but it's getting easier everyday. Glad to hear that your OK as it's been a while. Hopefully be able to meet up before the Fulham match in December if you're going and if you actually arrive on time for a change :)

    Corporate Q&A at SJP

I like the mention of 2-3 major signings. These have to be mainly defensive. All in all, the recent press coming out of the club has been very positive. Makes me wonder if we'll ever get the fabulous Friday announcements back again :)

    A fact

Didn't realise it was that bad at Birmingham <yikes> Guess they had to balance the books somehow.

    A fact

Don't Brum still have a transfer embargo because of the issues with the owner? CH did wonders here when all and sundry were fearing the worst. He had very little money to work with and has pretty much the same situation at Birmingham as far as I can remember.

    Backing From A Higher Level.

True. There is also only one St. James' Park. There are two stadiums that go by the name of 'Stadium of Light' by the way. The one in the UK wasn't the first...

Seedorf and his thoughts on the future of European football

I agree with that. If you can't get to the next stage in the Champions League you should be out of all cups and not given a second chance to keep going in another knock out tournament. UEFA though claim it adds spice to the tournament with 'better teams' joining in the later stages and...

    Cisse to start

He's hardly played any matches since he's arrived due to the injury and slowly bringing him back in. I guess many just think that as he's been in England for over a year then he must know the English game by now. Same goes for Obertan to be fair. They both need time on the pitch to adapt their...

Seedorf and his thoughts on the future of European football

An interesting article with Clarence Seedorf talking about the future of European football and European Cup competitions. Seedorf's view on the future of Europe Once again, its proposed about a European Super League which would certainly reduce the money in standard domestic leagues. I...

    Cisse to start

To be fair, Spurs were simply outstanding and I think that even with our full first choice squad we'd have struggled to get something out of that match such was the quality of Spurs play.

My godson will be 15 this year. Still remember being there and helping to run the family bar when he was born. Bloody hell time flies. Still, he did promise to buy me a beer when he was 18 so not long to wait.
