    RIP Peter Brabrook

Sad news this morning that Peter has died. He was in the first game I ever saw at the Bridge and was a great partner to Jimmy Greaves. When Tommy Docherty came on the scene he let him go to West Ham, which I wasn't very happy about. RIP Peter - you were great!

    Champions League Draw

Isnt it miserable fellow blues, knowing the draw is taking place today and we aren't part of it! I think I'll give it a miss and go and do a bit of sunbathing outside! Boo hoo!

Nice start to the US tour.

Grabbing a 1-0 victory against Liverpool with 10 men on the pitch at the end put a big smile on my face. Shame Fabregas got a red card, him of all people, but I presume he'll miss one pre season friendly as a result. Let's hope we sort out Real next. Contes beginning to grow on me

    Bye,bye Blatter!

Let's hope he ends up in the pokey! Saw a great little ode to him in the paper this morning, so I thought I'd share for the benefit of those that didn't see it! A footballing bigwig called Blatter Awarded the World Cup to Qatar But claims that the venue Put bribes on the menu Left Fifa's...

    Chelsea ladies--the beautiful blues!

With all the miserable stuff going on this season, how nice to know our ladies are about to become champs! A pity we can't field this lot to play for the rest of the season in the Premier- or can we????

Does this result suggest we're on for the title

We got 3 points today taking our total to 4 in 3 games! Like all Blues I've been a bit miserable with our start to the season, but I've just been doing a bit of homework and realised we're on for another title. WHY?? These fixture's last year gave us the same 4 points! If we keep doing the...

    Facing Cech!

It's great to have our football back again and normally I'd be crowing to have our start against the gooners !But seeing Petr in the other goal doesn't seem right to me! I know for all the great service he's given us, indeed became a Chelsea legend, he couldn't be denied what he wanted, but it...

Happy days for an old Blue!

i read today that Terry Bradbury , a midfielder I used to watch in my early days as a Blue, has won the National Lottery jackpot of £5.5m. He left us in 1962 for Southend United, but I have memories of him occasionally deputising for John Mortimore. I doubt there are many out there who would...

    Is this another Chelsea record??

I noticed in the stats for the Leicester game that we were recorded as having committed only one foul in the entire game. I always wade through all the articles I can, about our games and read what I rivals have been up to as well, but I can never recall us , or anyone else ever committing so few...

    The kiddies do the business!

frustrating watching the youngsters working to get a semi-final place in the FA youth cup. So good and dominating during the game, but finishing 0-0 at full time. However they really made up for it in extra time and came out 3-0 winners. COYB!

    Happy birthday Eden Hazard!

    I've just struck gold!! Yippee!!

On the Mrs orders, I've had to "clear up" the room I call my office. Its the place where I have my library, computer and printer and all my assortment of personal items including my Chelsea memorabilia! In the process I've located lots of items that have been hidden away and not seen daylight...

    Maribor v The Blues

I'm very frustrated with a 1-1 scoreline last night! We could have have had the KO stage wrapped up if it hadn't been for a bad refereeing decision and a few careless moments from our strikers! OK--I've said my bit, now I'm going off to have a good sulk for the rest of the day!

    2014/15-A record breaking season?

For a start, I figured Costa at his present rate of scoring will clock up 67 goals by the seasons end,---and that's just the PL. Enough to break the record 60 goals in 1930. I am secretly hoping we will break our own record points score of 95 as well. How about being the first team to clock up...
