    Transfer Day Deflation

I think you've got it spot on. For clubs like ours, I would have thought it's essential to have a regular flow of youth players coming through. Unfortunately we're a million miles from that. I'd much rather see us bring them through like Palace and Southampton than sign another has been or will...

Match Day Thread Burnley v QPR

Is Kranjcar injured? I don't remember any mention of what's happened to him.

Who's up for this on Saturday?

Forget about 3-5-2 and 4-2-3-1, here's what we need to end the goal drought .... https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=564393107039559

So do we go for it or just let the League Cup fall by the wayside?

Well after our last outing, I'd very much like another trip to Wembley. So I'm all for playing our strongest team in both Cups. Let's go for it!!!

    New Nike Kit

Agreed. Makes no sense at all. Nike must surely want loads of shirts sold every year so why be so inflexible. Were they told how we'd react? The clubs should be saying to Nike - who's the customer?

    New Nike Kit

Unfortunately, yet again money talks. Don't agree with bombarding TF as his hands were tied but surely all the clubs should be standing up to Nike. A Twitter campaign aimed at Nike from fans saying they won't be buying shirts may make them take notice. Big firms can't ignore bad customer...

The Sea of Blue and White Flags

Do any of you have any photos of the 40,000 flags waving. It looked especially good after the goal went in or at the end or at the start. It was probably best seen by the Derby fans but would be nice to see a few posted. Went through the ones I took and didn't get any to do it justice - too busy...

What's your message for the team?

What would you say to the team so they know how you feel about the big day? Here's my ramblings ... "Whatever happens at Wembley, I want to come away feeling proud. Proud of your performance, effort, determination, commitment and, above all, your togetherness. I saw that for the first time...

    Team for Wembley

I'd like to see Hill at LB and Yun at LM.

    Our Bobby

I've wanted him as far from the pitch as possible all season but thought he was brilliant last night. He put himself about, made himself a real nuisance to their defence, held the ball up and laid it off superbly, set up both goals and nearly grabbed another. Thanks BZ.

    Clint Hill

I thought Dunne looked like a liability early on but got better and better by the end. Yun looked very effective and I'd have him at LM and Hill at LB.

Redknapp praises Young after QPR return

True about an epic injury list but how many of these are down to the training/fitness regimes and the way the players are prepared for matches and training. There's been a lot of muscle strains and training ground injuries.

What I really miss from the last Championship campaign most....

Watching players I was proud to see wearing the hoops.

Redknapp on the brink at QPR

Rodney - are you saying they really are trained and coached? I've not seen any sign of it and I can't believe Harry goes anywhere near the training ground. I don't think TF should make a change now. I'd rather see it happen in the summer and would much rather see a management/coaching set up...

    Utter tosh

Exactly. As the game went on and got steadily worse I thought that, apart from Hill and Dunne, I didn't care about any of "our" players on the pitch. HR's put together a bunch of misfits. What's there to like in a load of loan players and mercenaries?

    Where does the problem lie?

Trouble is, there are no coaches. There's a lot of people who wear red jackets on the payroll but they're clearly not doing any coaching. They've no idea of tactics, the players are clueless, individually they don't improve or develop the players and we clearly don't work on dead ball...

Wanted : one new coach (and this is not a Harry out thread)

Do any of you know what Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond actually do? I've got to the stage where I don't think it matters who we sign - I don't think it will make any difference. What I think we're lacking is a coach - a real coach who knows how to develop and improve the players and whose got...

    Happy to be here???

I know managers have to be careful in what they say in interviews, but I'm getting tired of NW's smiling "we're happy to be here" comment after every match. If that's the message the players are getting, it's no surprise we're struggling. We're in the prem because we were the best and most...
