I know its TalkSport, but I'm sure he was told (same with Tino) that if you show up in pre season, a starting eleven spot is there for the taking.
Fantastic move from the new owners, and doing it so quickly. This was my preferred option too.
Most likely as a Raphina replacement though.
He has, and most of the signings he has made have been good i.e Adams, Broja, Livramento, KWP, Perraud, Salisu. Its the leftovers from 5 years ago...
With Ankersen in charge, this is the first summer in 4 years or so that I'm looking forward too.
This game just proves that most of our squad players are not good enough to play when called upon. Unless that changes, it really doesn't matter...
Ward-Prowse having a pretty terrible game so far too.
You're not going to stop a shot into the roof of the net from that distance. I'm not McCarthys biggest fan either.
Ralph confirmed Perraud is out for 5-6 weeks with a fracture.
Call me crazy, but I see us getting something from this game...
GK, CB, CAM at a minimum, maybe CM too. It really wouldn't be too hard to bring in one of each this summer and improve the starting 11. I'm more...
We really do have some poor players in the squad don't we.
Of course I'm not happy with the performances, we know how we can play. But we still have a relatively thin squad after our first XI (talent wise)...
Spot on summary for me.
Ralph made 3 good subs with arguably our 3 best attacking players. I'm not sure what else he could of done today?
I don't see it as disinterested, it's just the classic young player struggling towards the end of a season.
Ralph made all the right subs, but it's been very poor since the changes. Expected much more from the players yet again.
I don't see the rush to be honest. Let him have a full pre season, and lets see where we are in August.
Damn, that could well be the last time we see Tino on the pitch in 2022.
Ralph will quite rightly be given a summer under the new ownership with some actual money to spend first.
