  • Yes me too....Oct 1953...in the fog.
I lived in Wembley but funny enough went back to school at Kingsbury County Grammar school when I was 11. First time I ever got drunk was in the Honeypot pub. Yes it is a mental hospital now.

It is a small world, I now work in Oxford and a guy I work with who was bought up in Cambridge, mentioned that he too was born in Honeypot Lane just a week apart.

    Small world
I have been supporting the R's since my Dad took me to my first game in the promotion season of 1947/48, and have been hooked ever since. Most memorable moments include March 4th 1967(obviously!) and the game at Aston Villa in 1968 when we first got promoted to the (old) First Division.Bradley of Aston Villa (who scored an own goal that day) is one of my all time heroes. The Oldham play-off Semi-Final a few years ago was also memorable, as was the game in Cologne in the UEFA Cup when we lost 4-1 but went through on the away goals rule!
Been living in Israel for past 19 years, so only see my beloved hoops a few times each season, but we now that we are Premier League, expect to see every game online or on TV.
