Fiftysomething life-long supporter, born in Winchester but lived away from south for past 40 years so don't get to SMS as often as I would like. Long term plans include return to Southampton area and season ticket. Still get to SMS a few times each year and to a few west country away games. Pet hates include fools who think that occasional attenders are less of a supporter than a local who attends every week. Try a 500 mile round trip (currently 240 miles) and 8 hours (currently 5 hours) on the road to watch a home match and see who trys harder. We are all supporters of the world's best team. We just support them in our own way. I rarely post but read the other forum and will read this one
