Anyway, Virgil is so damn good that it feels like nitpicking (mainly since it isn't his primary job), but man... He should've pretty much won this group for us already. Would've papered over the cracks a bit for sure though - much to learn.

Looks like we hit a purple patch a month and everything looked rosy and now its all gone wrong. Think we still qualify but my word that was poor against a fairly poor Sparta side

I had a few promotions to hold on to. At least in rugby they put some effort in. Even VVD couldn't give a **** tonight.
It was embarrassing tonight, it was embarrassing vs Hull. We are truly inept at the moment. As some one else mentioned above, we haven't looked like scoring in open play for a long time.
This is a learning curve for Saints. Sparta are a vastly experinced European team so know how to go about qualifying from a group stage. I doubt they will win the competition though as there are classier teams in the tournament. If I was a betting man, Shaktar have to be the favourites.

Not going to worry about the game itself. We have played **** games before. What I am worrying about is how few goals we get.
Yeah i missed that. Don't understand why though Uefa has them ahead of us at the moment, as we drew our match, but we have a better goal difference.
On current form I think we can get 0 against Hapoel.

Right now, our better overall GD comes into play. It's lower on the totem pole than away goals in head-to-heads, though.

Well I had an amazing time away at Inter.
Completely agree. One game in a while, fine. But I'm not sure how many times I can take losing because we can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.
