Only thing to weigh up is if they sold the club, would the club be worth more than 70m with an extra 6k seats in compared to without? Probably not, so as you say they'd have to stick around to see ROI which is unlikely. 15 years is a lot in football.
Liverpool continue to be linked with a whole host of Serie A stars on a daily basis over in Italy, but today it's back to the tried and trusted Geoffrey Kondogbia. The midfielder continues to be linked with a move to Anfield after struggling with Inter Milan in recent months. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...erpool-transfer-rumours-jurgen-klopp-12011643
Maybe they got confused lol. We are all programmed to not smile in photos now days. Saying that. Looks a normal pic to me for migs, sturridge and can.
Last year we made £60m profit, the year before only £1m profit - that's accounting for the tv money as well - so it looks like it gets eaten up in running costs, wages, etc. This years accounts, which include the biggest tv wedge yet, won't be published till March 2017. It will show exactly where the money went.
plus weren't both of those figures pre tax profits. Mind you we have yank owners and clearly yank companies see no reason to pay any taxes outside of the USA
I don't know mate but they're not massive profits and without the tv money would look a lot less healthy.
Like I said yesterday, FSG are mingebags. Liverpool chief says further Anfield expansion 'not a smart investment' http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37633695
''Ayre told the meeting the club was open to fan investment to help fund further redevelopment of the ground and said conversations should take place.'' ok there's mine in, pass it around - please log in to view this image
They're cheeky bastards tbh, and they should be threatened with legal action for not fulfilling the terms under which they purchased the club. If they'd have said they'll review the situation at the end of the season fairy snuff, but to just to dismiss it out of hand is totally wrong, there are deffo ways to amalgamate corporate facilities into any new stand at the anny road end and its not rocket science to make the entrance to corporate facilities in Anfield Road with a connecting walkway or similar to the new main stand.
If we did help fund the expansion bet they wouldn't reward the fans with cheap tickets. Also what happens when they sell up. Do the fans get back a percentage of the sale as any expansion obviously adds value to property. Thought not. And they wonder why they are called greedy bastards lol.
Makes you wonder why they sanctioned, and presumably paid for, expansion plans for the Anfield Road end. The costings/outlay/returns were the same then as now.
That's assuming they actually had any intention of building a new Anny Rd stand, they are slowly alienating themselves and making enemies amongst the support, that's in sharp contrast to him and his mrs and Werner reasonably regularly going to games and waving to the crowd and bigging the occasion up in the media in their early days as our owners.
I'm not so sure mate. Clearly some are disgruntled but I think they have genuinely tried to listen to the fans. We have got a new stand now which is a very positive and tangible upgrade on the last two yankee-land owners.
Sergio Ramos linked with Reds Goodness me, it’s not even January yet, but this is one sensational transfer rumour. Hold on to your hats, folks. Sergio Ramos is supposedly a target for Liverpool. According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, the Champions League holders are willing to let their captain go. That, apparently, has alerted Jurgen Klopp, who admires the 30-year-old’s ‘experience and character’. PSG and Bayern are also in contention, it says. Bask in the glory of this outlandish gossip. You’ll be sick of it come
