Except we can and it's been said on this board to death. If you think Huddlestone doesn't get his fair share of criticism on this board you need to take your Meyler-tinted glasses off.

We don't need to fit anyone in but dropping Meyler to accommodate another attacking midfielder makes perfect sense if we want to be more attacking, considering Clucas is already playing in that holding midfield role and is doing pretty well there.

I don't know what we would miss if Meyler was dropped to the bench, if we bring in a player who has energy and talent then it's a no brainier. Clucas is doing what I think everybody else imagines Meyler doing, except Clucas is actually doing it.

That being said, the lad did well against Man U and deserves a lot of praise.

Well, Meyler wouldn't be playing in the starting XI if Dawson was fit as Livermore would be playing in that midfield three with Huddlestone and Clucas. Huddlestone is overall a far superior player to Meyler and Clucas has shown he's comfortable playing as a holding midfielder. I agree, if we sign Henriksen there'd be no reason to start him.

People perhaps should stop quoting these random Twitter accounts. Most of them are bull and those that appear to get things right, only do so because they initially tweet most rumours and delete those which are later proven to be incorrect.

I've seem Kodjia a few times and he's a tidy player with a good eye for goal. He's physically strong but if I was taking a punt I'd go for Matty Taylor from Bristol Rovers. He's raw but has lots of potential and would cost a lot less than Kodjia

£14M. A month ago he was valued at £6.5M when Villa went in pursuit of him. That is extortionate inflation for a player who apparently can let the games simply slip by him.http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spo...ws/who-jonathan-kodjia-lowdown-aston-11598420
This is his second year in the Championship - that is his highest level to date........£14M????????

Konate at Sion would be far better value than that....regarded as best striker in Swiss League, along with Embolo. 23, will improve, has pace to burn and a 1 in 2 goal scoring record. Also plays as a wide forward/winger in a front 3, which would be handy as well. Probably cost about £10m

Embolo has already left for a team in Germany. Left just before (or during) the Euros
