No, "internet wealth" is what he made up. He likes to brag about it. If you haven't noticed you must have serious comprehension issues.

Apologies for not following every post on your one man crusade to be the site's chief pedant. I'd sell a kitchen and invest in some nicer specs and perhaps a personal trainer.

Just be aware of what's going on and you wont go far wrong. Admittedly you need to have a certain level of intelligence and so far you seem to be struggling on that front. "What's happened?" he says. That is just too embarrassing.

You're spot on Pete. It was as funny as ****. He made a right arse of himself, so his wee buddies came to his defence and tried to make out they were internet detectives because they'd followed your signature, and then, as an attempt to hide his blushes tried to spin it as though you were the one boasting.

They fall back on it when their 'expert opinion' is getting laughed out of the thread.
<laugh>

The day I make as big a twat of myself as you consistently do, I'll pack it all in!....

I'm intelligent enough to not use my own name on a football forum where I seek to talk down to anyone with a different opinion which happens to also be the name of my business.

I also got in to a better university than London Poly and have more interesting things to describe myself than:

"Peter was born in Hull, Yorkshire. He moved to London in 1973. After leaving Hull Grammar School he spent five years in the costing department of Spooners, a building construction company, in Hull. During this time he studied Accounts at "O" and "A"-level standard on evenings and obtained top grades. Next he studied full-time for an Accountancy degree at City of London Polytechnic (now London Metropolitan University) and obtained an Upper Second Class Honours Degree. He then commenced training with Whinney Murray which soon changed its name to Ernst & Whinney and is now the international firm of Chartered Accountants, Ernst & Young. After four years in public practice Peter worked for a subsidiary of Grand Metropolitan (now called Diageo) for four years and worked at Bow Valley Petroleum for five years (during this time they were bought by British Gas - now called BG Group). In 1986 Peter started his own practice and twenty nine years later is still using the same name!"

Well done on those top grades!

!!!!

It's a shame he never mentions his time with the Hull Southern Supporters football team. Good times.

He's a complete idiot. Thank **** he's never got anywhere near any accounts of mine!

What gets me is that he's supposedly a pro. Yet he seems to think that a) I'm going to publish bank statements, statements from money managers, etc, on an Internet forum. And, b) it seems he's quite happy for people to hold £500k in a bank account!?

Great accountancy and advice!.....

You are confusing "talking down to" with pointing out when somebody is lying.

You still dont seem to understand what "redact" means. You are happy to brag about "internet wealth" yet when you have the opportunity to show you are not lying you realise you can't and so you pretend you don't understand.
I don't see anything wrong with somebody having £500k in a bank account if they want to buy a house quickly at a good discount for cash. It's a lot better than having nothing anywhere and pretending that you are too precious to publish redacted evidence yet likes to hint at various "internet wealth".

Why would anyone lie? To impress you? Given you've laid your life bare on the internet if someone wanted to impress you they wouldn't go to the bother of inventing an ex pat life in Spain. They'd simply say that they'd won £20 on a scratch card.

At current interest rates, it seems phenomenally poor value and not particularly secure either.

Why do all the companies you work for change name after you leave?
